There’s no mistaking Nick Cave’s unique sound. His baritone voice, lyrical genius and emotional intensity evoke a sense of hypnotic macabre adored by his fans. Best known as the frontman of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, his career spans five decades playing multiple roles as composer, musician, author, singer-songwriter, actor and screenwriter.
Tying into the strategy and Nick’s vision, we collated, curated, and presented every last detail of Nick’s work. His music with The Bad Seeds, his personal compositions, books, and films. Creating the ultimate destination for his army of fans to discover anything Nick Cave and at the same time, maximising traffic, with a search engine strategy, that is second-to-none.
As part of the project we created a simple, but powerful management system, allowing Nicks management team to manage every aspect of the website in-house, including the creation of bespoke campaign pages.
This project was far more than just delivering a website. This was a strategic collaboration with several of Nicks trusted partners, each bringing their expertise to provide the ultimate website solution for one of the world’s most loved artists.
Since the website launched in 2019, there has been a dramatic increase in traffic and revenue, so much so that a second store was integrated, retailing objects and collectables, designed by Nick himself.
Working with the George Harrison Estate, we were honoured to give our favourite Beatle a fresh new image, including a logo, hand-made font and brand new website. A project that demonstrates the depth of our creative and digital know-how.
